CHOOSING AN MLM COMPANY: THE LEADERSHIP FACTOR

So you have been around looking from 1 company to another? Don't worry. I have been the same past 4 years. So are 100s if not 1000s of others.

SO WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO LOOK FOR, NOW?

After meeting so many companies and the so called managers, CEOs and owners, I have concluded that above all it is all about the LEADERSHIP of the company in particular before one should take the plunge.

LEADERSHIP:
Always look at the leadership of the Company first. Is it led by a Manager or a leader? Doesn't matter what the post is. CEO or GM or even just a Manager.

If a company is being led by a Manager, avoid it. You need a Leader.

He or she has the slightest idea of leading an MLM business, the basic fundamentals and the art and science of leading it to the next level. Above all, he or she lacks the passion to live in the dreams of the leaders and networkers involved.

I went to consider a company a couple of months back, meeting the so called blooming CEO. All he rattled was how strong his company was financially, how great his poducts were without the slightest reference to the importance of building the most valuable asset the company needs to make things happen - PEOPLE a.k.a. leaders and networkers. To cap it all, he had a conman for his so called 001.

Would this company go really big? I doubt it. Latest I heard the 001has already moved on to his next company.

A LEADER LEADS
A company leader needs to lead, not led.

Have seen it many times as well, with the absence of field experience, the so called 'leader' of a company has been led and misled by rougue field leaders.

Nothing much REALLY needs to be explained. Have seen a few companies went belly up within months of inception.

PEOPLE GROWING FUNDAMENTALS
Is the Company leadership mindful of setting up the right fundamentals towards building people and leaders? Are there training & education as part of their AGENDA?

If not, let there be the best products, best marketing plan but the longevity is definitely not going to BE THE NAME OF THE GAME.

SETTING STANDARDS
Look out. See whether the company set up is of certain acceptable international management standards. If the whole set up is without a proper system, protocol and what nots, BEWARE.

You cannot go places with a Chinaman management style company. No amount of leadership would convince me then. If we join a circus, we will all end up as clowns.

SIMPLISTIC ASSUMPTIONS
Unfortunately, some people with some money, some products & some programmer for a marketing plan, supported by some 'leaders' thought they had it all.

It does not require rocket science to know how the final chapter is going to BE. To say the least, some of the owners and CEOs of these companies really look like clowns.

MLM STILL THE BUSINESS
MLM is a serious legitimate business. Even giants like Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, Paul Zaner pilzer, Warren Buffet and Bill Gates gave their thumbs up for this kind of business model.

MLM IN IN MALAYSIA,NOW
But unfortunately in Malaysia, MLM has been rampantly raped of its dignity, by some crooked leaders and business people. They mercilessly exploited and cheated the innocent masses with dreams to improve their lives by parting with their hard earned savings which amounted to debts and misery caused by these crooks.

How I wish there is a law to get these people behind bars and get whipped as well...

KISAH VAMPIRE COMPANY MLM

Sahibul hikayat alkisah adanya...

5 hari sudah, saya bertemu dengan seorang kawan yg sudah lama di Company ABC ni.

Bagai biasa saya bertanya mewakili kawan-kawan yang pernah bertungkus lumus di company tersebut. Orang marah, plan tukar tak habis-habis, bonus susah nak keluar dan kalau bolehpun, sebahagian yang sangat kecil dari jumlah bonus sebenar.

Maka saya ingin sangat tau latar belakang GM company ini yang merupakan manajemen company.

Maka begini rupa alkisahnya...



Dulu di bawah plan lama, ada seorang leader dari Sabah yang memang paling agresif dengan jualan produk serta sponsoring yang mencecah RM 1 juta tiap bulan.

Tapi beliau hairan kenapa bonusnya begitu kecil sedangkan begitu ramai member yang dibawa masuk untuk volume bisnes sebesar itu tiap bulan.

Selidik punya selidik, aqkhirnya beliau dapati habis kawan-kawan member yang dia bawa masuk DIPINDAHKAN dari bawah rangkaian beliau oleh seseorang.

Rupanya GM Company tersebut dalam diam-diam buat rangkaian secara rahasia. Bezabya dengan orang macam kita, dia tak perlu cari orang. CURI saja member dari jaringan leaders yang buat bisnes dalam company tersebut tanpa pebgetahuan mereka.

Itulah yang terjadi kepada lader agresif dari KK ini. Rupanya begitu ramai kawan-kawan serta member dalam jaringan beliau yang telah DIPINDAHKAN ke bawah rangkaian GM itu sendiri.

Maka tepat sangatlah kalau kita panggil si GM Perempuan ini, 'Ms Vampire'.

Orang susah payah sponsor, dia senang-senang curi letak di bawah rangkaian dia sendiri, mengaut puluhan ribu sebulan bonus hasil jerih lelah orang lain. Bahasa mudahnya, 'MENCURI' dari member & leader company itu sendiri.

Menurut kata kawan itu lagi, di company ini, bila saja leaders mula nak dapat income besar, GM, Si Vampire ini akan tukar Marketing Plan. Sudah berkali-kali.

Janji pulak macam-macam, tapi sampai waktu, tak pernah tunai. 5 tahun bisnes, belum seorang jutawan yang dilahirkan dari company tersebut.

Maka kawan-kawanku sekelian, beginilah kisah-kisah seram yang sering menghisap darah & mengorbankan orang-orang seperti kita, di industri MLM kita yang gemilang ini...

Ketahuilah siapa Sang Pontianak itu. Nak buat-buat bodohpun biarlah ada sempadan.

Selamatkanlah diri kalian & sahabat-sahabat yang tidak berdosa. SEBARKAN...

MLM: KENA TIPU? UPLINE LARI?

Anda ditipu? Bonus tak dapat? Bonus banyak tapi tak boleh nak cash? Upline dah tak angkat bila ditelefon?

Ini semua adalah perkara biasa. Kena tipu sudah lumrah di industri MLM di Malaysia dan juga Indonesia.

Kadang-kadang kita sendiri memang suka ditipu sebab kita tamak. Kita tak peduli latar belakang company. Pejabat bawah pokokpun tak apa asal dapat janjikan kita keuntungan beratus kali ganda dalam masa secepat mungkin.

Soal leader tak angkat call juga sangat biasa. Memang ramai leader berperangai macam itupun.

Masa nak ajak, boleh call 88 kali sehari semalam. Bila dah buat duit dia lesap, padahal dia tau company itu memang penipu dari awalnya.

Ada company yang memang dah rancang dari awal, buat Marketing Plan sampai orang boleh mengigau bila melihat.

Mereka tau, 99% di pasaran, orang takkan tanya dari mana wang bonus boleh dibayar. Yang penting akan dapat banyak.

Kalau anda serius dalam membina bisnes MLM, ingin untung, ingin dihormati dan mendapat rezeki berkat, ini yang WAJIB LAKU & PERHATIKAN:


PLAN DUDUK DIAM DAPAT DUIT?

1. "DUDUK DIAM DAPAT DUIT." Yang duduk diam dapat duit itu ialah company, bukan anda. Ini biasanya sistem matrix. Kononnya anda masuk aje, tunggu diam-diam akan dapat duit dengan sistem auto-placement.

Percayalah, company bukan bodoh. Biasanya owner company sendiri akan letak di peringkat atas semua akaun mereka sendiri. ANAK, ISTERI, CUCU, CICIT, NENEK, MOYANG, SEMUA ADA AKAUN.

Jadi bila kita masuk, semuanya pergi ke poket mereka dahulu. Kemudian 001 juga, untuk bukti tunjuk statement income dengan orang ramai. Semua ini adalah permainan dan strategi company belaka.

Seorang leader besar sahabat baik saya juga terkena kerana dia tidak tau rahasia ini.

Dia pulun betul-betul dan collect berjuta ringgit. Kemudian dia masuk lagi RM500,000 akaun sendiri, RM500,000 akaun isteri. Masuk aje, Company freeze akaun. RM1,000,000.00 (RM 1 juta) melayang sekelip mata. Ini leader besar yang rapat dengan owner. Speaker company. Sama-sama boleh duduk karaoke. Kalau member biasa seperti saya atau anda?

Sahabat saya ini tersangat rapat dengan owner. Itupun owner boleh buat macam itu. Bayangkan. Sekarang sahabat saya itu dah tak buat lagi dengan company tersebut.

Setengah owner company MLM di Malaysia ini memang macam gansgter cara mereka berbisnes. Hati-hati.

LEADER DAPAT INCOME BESAR SEKELIP MATA.

Terjadi juga, 001 atau 'top leaders' print income statement palsu untuk jaja tunjuk kepada prospek, walhal nak minumpun tak ada duit nak bayar.


LEADER HEBAT, LEADER PENYANGAK

Ramai leader yang tidak peduli dengan apa akan jadi pada orang yang mereka bawa masuk, asal mereka dapat duit. Orang ramai yang kurang pengetahuan akan termakan dengan kata-kata 'leader-leader hebat' ini.

Semuanya baik belaka tentang company itu walaupun mereka tau yang owner company serta plan memang menipu dan tak masuk akal.

Rahasia yang tidak dimaklumkan kepda orang ramai ialah, biasanya leader-leader hebat dengan Mercedes dan BMW ini diupah oleh owner company untuk menarik orang ramai ke company mereka.

Setakat RM10,000 ke RM50,000.00, biasalah. Expenses semua tanggung. Makan minum, tidur hotel 5 bintang dan sebagainya. Jadi mereka kelihatan tersangat sukses dan mewah.


IMEJ DAN BISNES STRATEGI

Kadang-kadang 001 ini turut dipinjamkan Mercedes untuk putar belit pasaran. Orang biasa tengok leader hebat datang dengan kereta mewah, makan minum di hotel 5 bintang, terus terpedaya. Yang mereka tak tau, itu semua disponsor company.


MASUK BANYAK AKAUN.

"Masuk banyak akaun. Lagi banyak masuk, lagi banyak dapat. Masuk 1 akaun rugi" kata leader-leader hebat ini.

Memang mereka akan jolok semua orang masuk banyak-banyak akaun.
Lagi banyak akaun, lagi untung company. Lagi banyak juga leader hebat ini dapat bonus. Yang habis duit, orang-orang yang masih mentah dengan MLM yang masuk banyak-banyak akaun.

Yang mereka tak bagi tau, masuk 100 akaunpun, kalau tak bina bisnes, mana nak datang bonus? Tapi impression yang diberi sewaktu presentasi seolah-olah sudah otomatis, lagi banyak masuk, lagi banyak pulangan.


SEKEDAR MENGINGATKAN

1. Sebelum terjun, lihatlah dulu company dan leader-leader yang menerajui.

2. Jangan mudah terpedaya dengan imej dan cakap-cakap yang menyeronokkan. Kita buat MLM nak buat duit, bukan nak jadi miskin.

3. Duduk DIAM DAPAT DUIT? Sebenarnya duduk diam dapat bala. Kalau begitu senang buat duit, bankpun tutup. Nak dapat duit kena buat kerja. Itu sudah hukum alam.

"Masuk RM5,000 dapat RM20,000. Sebab kita profit sharing dengan company."

Hati-hati, ini semua strategi company nak pungut berjuta ringgit dengan memancing ketamakan dalam diri manusia.

Kalau nanti company kata tak untung? Nak profit share dari mana? Ini sudah terjadi berulang kali di pasaran.

JANGAN JADI MISKIN SEBAB MLM. KITA BISNES SEBAB NAK TAMBAH INCOME. BUKAN TAMBAH HUTANG.


JANGAN ROSAKKAN IMEJ ANDA.

Komuniti MLM kecil. Baik di Malaysia atau Indonesia. Semua orang akan dengar reputasi semua orang.

Kalau anda turut jadi leader yang cuma pentingkan diri sendiri tanpa ada rasa tanggung jawab atau bersalah, balanya akan datang menimpa anda juga nanti.

Memang anda boleh beli Mercedes dan BMW dalam masa yang singkat. Tapi ingat, berapa ramai orang yang sumpah seranah di belakang anda.

Rezeki yang tidak berkat pasti akan mengundang mala petaka kerana membina kekayaan atas kesusahan orang lain. Rezeki itu nantinya kita bagi makan anak isteri kita serta jadi darah daging.

Memang anda kaya raya, tapi macam-macam masalah yang akan menimpa hidup anda serta keluarga hingga porak peranda atau ditimpa macam-macam penyakit. Ini sudah saya sendiri lihat setelah 11 tahun dalam industri ini.

Carilah rezeki halal dan berkah.

MLM DI MALAYSIA - COMPANY MACAM MANA NAK PILIH?

APA YANG HARUS ANDA PERHATIKAN APABILA MEMILIH COMPANY MLM?



Terpulang kepada apa yang anda cari. Adakah ingin mencari Company untuk buat bisnes sementara atau boleh dapat duit banyak tapi berkekalan?

1. LATARBELAKANG COMPANY.
Siasat kedudukan kewangan Company serta owner (pemilik) company. Kalau owner tidak mempunyai rekod yang baik dari segi manajemen kewangan dan pengalaman pengurusan, elakkan Company ini. Contohnya pernah memilikki beberapa company sebelum ini tapi sering buka dan tutup.



2. MANEJEMEN
Adakah manajemen pernah ada rekod tidak bayar bonus member? Tidak bayar supplier? Tidak bayar speaker atau trainer? Tidak bayar sewa ofis? Tidak menghormati kebajikan member atau leader?

3.SOKONGAN & PASARANA
Sokongan dari Company dalam bentuk sistem komputer, internet dan ofis yang lengkap. Hati-hati dengan Company yang berpejabat di atas kedai kopi, dengan hanya satu atau dua orang staff.

4.KETELUSAN
Pastikan anda dapat melihat di internet jaringan, jualan anda, bonus dan sebagainya.

5.BONUS
Bagaimana bonus dibayar dan bila serta oleh siapa, sangat penting. Jangan nanti, bonus kelihatan berpuluh ribu ringgit di e-wallet, tapi susah atau tidak dapat terus untuk dikeluarkan.

6. MARKETING PLAN - MUDAH DAN SEMUA ORANG BOLEH BUAT
Teliti Marketing Plan. Adakah ianya mudah dan boleh dilakukan oleh semua orang.

Misalnya, buat 2 line (kaki) adalah jauh lebih mudah dari terpaksa buat 10 line untuk dapatkan pendapatan besar.

JANGAN PLAN YANG OVERPAY
Dalam masa yang sama, jangan terlalu ghairah dengan marketing plan yang tidak masuk akal.

Contohnya buat 2 line (binary) tetapi tiada limit berapa pasang yang diibayar sehari ataupun bilangan pasangan yang terlalu tinggi. Contohnya 30 pasang dengan hanya 1 akaun.

Ini sudah tentu over pay, maksudnya Company dapat jualan RM1,000 dari seorang tetapi bayar bonus RM1,100. Ertinya lebih banyak bayar dari dapat. MANA ADA ORANG BERNIAGA MAU RUGI?

Kalau Plan Overpay, Company memang sengaja. Ini untuk pancing orang masuk ramai-ramai, kumpulkan jutaan ringgit kemudian tutup company.
INGAT: PENIPU-PENIPU INI BUKAN BODOH.

7. PRODUK & HARGA
Kalau ingin bisnes yang tahan lama, Produk yang bagus serta harga yang berpatutan adalah asas bisnes supaya ada belian ulangan setiap bulan.

8. LESEN AJL
Pastikan company ada AJL.Tanpa AJL, sudah pasti ini bukan bisnes sah dan company memang ada niat untuk tutup bila-bila masa.




9. FUNCTIONS & MEETING
Tanpa functions yang kuat serta meeting yang berterusan, sukar bisnes untuk bertahan.

Jika company tidak beri tekanan kepada perkara-perkara sedemikian, bolehlah berkesimpulan bisnes ini tidak akan jadi benar-benar besar dan tahan lama.

Adalah sukar juga bagi anda membina serta mengekalkan jaringan anda tanpa functions dan meeting.

10. KEPIMPINAN LEADER DI JARINGAN.
Perhatikan dan tanya siapa 001 ataupun leader-leader utama yang menerajui di jaringan company.

Jika mereka punya rekod yang tidak baik dari segi amanah dan kepimpinan, jauhi company ini kerana ianya tidak akan ke mana.

Setelah melihat semua itu, buatlah keputusan dan bertindak segera.

THE RICH ALWAYS WHACK FIRST. THINK & TALK LATER...

In past 12 months, I have bumped into quite a number of people who made their millions through the MLM industry in Malaysia.

So how did the rich got rich?

1. TIMING.
Always position themselves when a new opportunity is hot out of the oven - always got on top of the pyramid with the rest of the crowd coming in later.

2. DEMAND.
They always demand to be the 001. Otherwise demand to be given a 'power leg' especially in binary marketing plans and just get all the rest of the leaders under the second leg.

3. ALWAYS HAVE MORE THAN 1 BUSINESS CENTRE.
They may profess to have or focus only one account BUT there is always the secret 2nd or 3rd account before building the business.

4. ME FIRST.
Even though they may say relationship and friendship are always the priorities in building business, their own interests supercede everything else. IT IS ALWAYS ME FIRST.

5. MEANS JUSTIFY THE END
Even though they know something is not right, be it the legitimacy of the business or anything else, it does not matter for as long as they can make their millions first.

They would not blink an eye,knowing the rest of the crowd under them are merely their sacrificial lambs.

Are these people wrong doing what they did? No.

As Donald Trump says, "It's nothing personal. It is just business."

Everything is about money.

Adakah MLM Masih Jalan Keluar?

Sebut saja MLM, semua orang akan segera lari laju dan jauh-jauh. Maka persoalannya kini ialah, adakah MLM masih relevan sebagai jalan keluar dari kemelut kewangan anda?

Setelah 11 tahun di dunia MLM, rasanya saya tau juga sikit-sikit yang bagaimana harus kita cari.

Mana lagi bisnes dengan modal paling sedikit tetapi boleh memberikan pulangan beratus ribu ringgit sebulan tanpa harus terus berkerja jika asas membinanya betul dan kukuh?

99% Company MLM dari Malaysia adalah dimilikki oleh manusia-manusia tamak, nggak punya wawasan sama sekali, bodoh dan penipu gedean.

Gitu dong. Hati-hati ya...

The Unfair Advantage

John C. Maxwell once said, "Leaders find the dreams then the people, the people find the leaders then the dreams."

That statement says almost everything why leaders earn the most in every field, business or politics. Leaders always see things long before they happen. Call it vision. Call it intuition. But that is the way it is.

In the MLM industry, that observation by John C Maxwell cannot be any better than the truth. Leaders are the ones who make things happen, garnering tirelessly to get supporters to dream along with them.

Being pioneers is not always easy for they are sailing in unknown waters often having to chart new courses along the way. More often than not, business infrastructures are never ready.

But it is always these pioneering leaders that enjoy the best when everything is set ready, eventually enabling them to build the biggest businesses.

Once ready, they have rewarded themselves positions of being able to exploit and reap the unfair advantages in business of being right at the top with the rest of the world joining under them?

Is that luck? No. These leaders create their own luck and future.

In the world of MLM, looking for the right company with a soul, integrity, global vision, purpose, right corporate expertise team is never easy. Along these qualities then the right products and compensation plan will come accordingly.

When such an opportunity comes along, only fools would wait for everything to be ready before wanting to commit into building the business.

With the perfect set up, it is purely amazing how the right leaders and connections would come along out of no where.

Yes, it is definitely going to take some time to build a huge business. But for once we know, we are going to build a huge profitable, lasting handsfree business leading to the promised land of Uncommon Freedom.

To make really great things happen, we need the unfair advantage.

Big Business Or Big Con Job?

LEADERS ARE EQUALLY TIRED OF CLIMBING THE EMPTY LADDER.

Ever wondered why people leaves a company? Especially Malaysian companies?

Wonder no more. The truth is, we leaders are just plain tired of moving one company to another and it has always been my own personal wish that the company I last joined would be the last.

But, when a Company does not honour what they promiseD, should we go on knowing what the end would be? It is simple basic common sense, when the management starts not honouring their words at our level, there is no way they are going to honour others of lesser standing as well.

If they deliberately default on small amounts due to us, what surety is that they are going to honour sums hundreds of times bigger later on?

It is sad. Really sad to learn the truth about these kind of leadership and companies. They talk about BIG businesses. About the moon and the stars, yet not practising pure basics and foundation of sound business principles.

So fellow friends, be careful about these companies with 'big dreams'. They are nothing but 'BIG CON JOBS'. I know what I am talking about. Just ask me in private.

It does not matter if the CEO or partners are professionals or highly qualified when they have everything except integrity. After all never forget, there are even Datuks now in prison.

MLM CONSULTANTS: MALAYSIA

When the big boys have big money, the next most attractive move is to diversify. MLM is well known to be good cash cows.

With money, the big boys look for so called experts of MLM in Malaysia.

Pay them their consultancy fees and they will provide these clients of theirs the so called package. But their definition of a 'package' is to provide their clients with the marketing plans and 'leaders'. That easy tostart making money huh?

But having big money does not necessarily mean these seasoned business players know the right questions to ask their so called MLM Consultants. Simple questions such as:

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE AN MLM COMPANY SUCCEED?

1. Is it big capital?
Tabung Haji, Felda and KUB were good enough examples that capital alone was not the answer. They quickly created their MLM Comapnies and quickly went out of business as well. The same also happened in Indonesia where big timers from China and Taiwan lost them all in millions.

2. Is it products?
There have been many companies with excellent products that went bunker as well. I wouldn't want to name these private companies unlike Felda or Tabung Haji.


3. Is it marketing plan?
One Company I was involved in, has one of the most innovative plans around. They collected millions, tried to go on partnership with a huge Indonesia Company and recently got in a naive investor which had already unwittingly seduced into investing more than a million ringgit.

This poor guy could be left high and dry within next 6 months if not sooner unless drastic measures are adopted fast like what Idris Jala did for MAS.

4. 'X' Factor.
Everything in place, good management, vision, products less the 'X' Factor.

The truth is still very little chance of growing real and lasting big business.

Of course the blooming Management Consultant does not know that because he was never part of such organisation nor having the success track record of building networks from ground zero.

But that so called specialists still sell the perception that just by providing the big boys with suppliers (their own or friends products) and a marketing plan programme, that is the total complete package.

What also the big boys do no know how to ask the MLM Consultants was, "Can you show us a company you have the provided the package still around and doing well after 3 years?"

Of course they would not be able to give an answer simply because they have no track record what so ever.

And of course the big boys would be naturally be estactic with joy when the MLM Consultant says and bring them some 'Leaders' to help start the business.

What the Big Boys do not know is, why should they provide you with good leaders when they have a few other companies of their own in the MLM business?

Jack Trout wrote a book called 'Big Brands Big Trouble' and his co author for years Al Ries wrote anothet book simply called 'Focus'.
Perhaps the Big Boys should read these kind of books first before jumping into the MLM companies bandwagon.

To trust or not to trust these so called MLM Consultants from Malaysia? A little check on their background could save these big boys big bucks.

Levis spent US 850 million to improve their business. But nothing changed.

MLM LEADERS = CORPORATE LEADERS ?

There are all kinds of assumptions about the secret formula of generating millions of dollars in business turnovers and profits.

But like any other open secrets for success, success is a science executed with finesse bordering on art. The maestro would no doubt made it appear almost magical. That explains why CEOs like Jack Welch are paid millions a year to spearhead the company's business to the promised land.

So what is it then?

Why DID SUCCESSFUL NETWORKERS fail AS CORPORATE MLM LEAEDRS?

Theoritically speaking, successful networkers should be successful MLM Corporate Managers or CEOs.

WERE THEY TRUE LEADERS?
We could overlook the fact that successful networkers are not necesarily successful REAL leaders. They could be successful due to timing such as bad economic times where people are desperately looking for opportunities to make some extra dollars and ready to take the plunge the moment something comes along.

It could be some products very revolutionary in delivering the results or outcome. It could be the marketing plan, something out of this world for that moment in time.

It could be so many things that catapults some one into financial stratosphere of wealth creation.

And so, the world assumes this great guy is a great leader.


THE TRUTH.

It could just be total hype. Someone making so much money within a few days in business, not knowing that great guy buys up everything just to show the 'huge income gotten within a few days in business' and later on used his income statement as testimonial. And of coz as the everybody flocks in,the bigger, the faster his income would be.

If these are the basis that makes a leader a leader, then he is going to fail in leading the corporate aspects of an MLM company.
For he just does not understand what it takes to build a proper network based on sound proper business practice.


ALL ABOUT PEOPLE AND THEIR LIFE, DREAMS AND ASPIRATIONS
At the end of the day, one cannot but fail to appreciate, building a successful business is all about leadership focussing on the human aspect of the business as networks are essentially people with emotions and feelings.

Marketing plan, products, technical support are all but just the vehicle required to make these masses of people grow their vision and perceptions on life.

In MLM, people's vision, dreams, apirations are basics of growing huge networks which generating business turnovers.

No smart company would ever overlook the human aspects of network marketing. Getting them in, and more importantly, making them stay to grow the business.

It is not purely the products, marketing plan or hype. It is always the total package.

Received a few smses from a leader in Jakarta early this morning. To sum it all, he is still looking around. Boiling down to his frustrations of dealing with the company he is representing in Indonesia today. Sadly, it is a Malaysian company. Real shame on us. Again, it is all about leadership and integrity.

Just how important is Leadership in business? Absolutely EVERYTHING. Minus leadership, there is no vision and battle plans for a Company's direction and execution.

As once said by General Douglas MacArthur a second World War hero, "The bottom line of achieving victory in any battle, is actual execution of battle plans in battle fields."

That sums everything about leadership and business.

But, still over riding all, is one factor: INTEGRITY of the leader especially in business. Integrity makes all the difference. From Warren Buffet to G.E's Jack Welch. And for the MLM industry, IT IS EVERYTHING. It holds or loses people within any organisation.

LOOKING BACK.
We started our journey with one Aussie company way back in 1998.

Built the business from scratch way up to the pinnacle. We helped built function attendance from 30 people to a crowd in excess of 2,000 within 3-4 years.

We enjoyed the journey and so were many people who were never in MLM before, building the business, a bit of income and significance.

But as business grew, so were egos and greed.In May 2004, I left the Company. To keep it short, the company is no longer around in Malaysia and also in Australia today.

BACK TO THE FUTURE
Today, as my path crossed with so many people, field leaders and companies alike, it is just not difficult at all to see whether a company is going places or not.

Just listen to what they got to say, then give some time to see what they do. PERIOD.

To some of you guys out there, you may have the money, the best marketing plans and products BUT minus INTEGRITY, you are not going to have a really big busines for long.

Yes, I know it too, some of you purposely designed your Company that way. Collect as much money from the poor networkers, then close your Company.

Of coz u have collected your millions. But not USD 800 to 900 millions. Perhaps a couple of millions. Simply beause you guys have no vision further then that of an ostrich.

TOWKAY, CAKAP SAMA BIKIN MAU SAMA WO....

FRIENDLY REMINDER
To all my fellow leaders and networkers, in choosing a company, look for one more thing BEYOND the company's grandiose plans and dreams; INTEGRITY.

SEE WHAT THEY DO.
From Company management to simple things as how they treat their friends, fellow workers and keeping time for appoinments. All tells tales. Just look out.

DON'T JUST LISTEN. WATCH. BE CAREFUL.

It still hurts me to know fellow friends get hurt.

just back from Jakarta on Tuesday.

BANKRUPT CREATOR or MONEY MACHINE?

It is a very common perception amongst ex-leaders of the MLM industry in Malaysia that with their money or funders behind them plus their so called 'networks' and rushing into the Indonesian market, starting an MLM Company seems the surest way of creating overnight wealth.

The truth is never near from such simple assumptions especially the Indonesian market. Sometime back in October 2007, someone with so much money started an MLM in Indonesia with a bang.

They launched it in a mountain resort not far from Jakarta. Flew in all the leaders from all over Indonesia, everything paid for from airline tickets to hotel rooms and the gala function.

Leaders were given free accounts. They reportedly had a budget of USD300,000+ ( RM1,000,000.00) to splash around. Within less than 3 months, that company became another case study.

That was not the only instance. I have been told by one friend in Jakarta, of a few other similar ventures with companies from China and Hong Kong meeting the same fate.

They thought by catching one or two self proclaimed 'great leaders' from Indonesia, they are in safe hands. But if so, how come they too suffered the same fate?

I was also informed by one CEO in Malaysia how he lost twice in the Indonesian market sometime back. Once RM2.5 million. Another more than RM10million.

So what went wrong?

1. COMPANY LEADERSHIP:

KNOWLEDGE

It has to start with the Company leadership. MLM is a very sensitive industry. Preferably, it has to be started and managed by someone with success track records in the field plus corporate management skills.

The leadership has got to have intimate knowledge what makes the market ticks and who to deal with to crack and vibrate the market to explosive impacts in creating the waves of momentum.

VISION

The Company Leadership has to have the vision of creating a business venture that will be hugely profitable, lasting and truly beyond borders.

It has to have a vision of moving towards building a billion dollar business within say the next 5-10 years. After all we are in the most populated and largest market potentials of the world, Asia.

INTEGRITY

One of the reasons why Malaysian or Asian Companies could not grow beyond small is very simple. Lack of integrity. It takes Integrity to become a true border less international player after Vision and Knowledge.

MLM SUCCESS EQUATIONS: What else?

So what makes people like Amway still thriving steadily? After Management. Is it products? Marketing plan? Pricing?

If it is that simple, how come companies end up in the bunkers?

After more than 10 years in the industry, through own and borrowed experiences of friends in the industry, observations and readings it all points to a very simple equation:

After Good Products, Reasonable Pricing and Attractive Marketing Plans all of those that failed had the most important equation missing - absence of a proper culture that binds people together to go on for the long term ride.

The proper culture of training and education encased in strong functions and events. Recognitions and travels. It is so simple and yet none of those that failed ever considered these something important to their growth and survival.

CONCLUSION

That is why when people approached me to join them in new establishments, no matter how much money they have or how huge the parent company that funds the proposed venture, I know they are not going to go places when they only talk about marketing plans and products.

Just in October last year, I was invited to a launching of a new company in Kuala Lumpur. It was quite a hoo-haa. The CEO has a Phd in Management. Strong Board of Directors with one Datuk as Chairman and share holder. Told myself quietly to give them 6 months. It lasted shorter than 6 months.

So, starting a new MLM Company minus the right equation is more of a bankrupt creating machine than anything else.

It has been proven so many times in history be it business or at war. It has never been the big that beats the small. It is the fast that eats the slow.

So when starting a new venture, is it always proper to wait for everything to be perfect before taking the market?

Perfection if ever achieved is a fleeting thing for the world is moving so fast making what is perfect for the moment becoming only almost perfect the next instance if not totally out of context.

What is imperative is to get the basics firmly laid on a solid ground and then just fly off. Doing the wrong things slowly will definitely not produce the right outcome as well. So, it is doing the right things fast and GET THE BUSINESS MOVING EVEN FASTER.

A business venture will have to adapt to changes and challenges. Stubbornness or plain ignorance of a business leader (the CEO) is no longer a luxury in today's business world.

Likewise, the business climate of today does not permit any one to do things slowly, slowly. No one could afford to wait, especially the leaders in the market for it is their survival.

We may not need the leaders as we can always build our own leaders from scratch but do we have the luxury of waiting as well?

Past experience provides us the wisdom of charting the future, not a prison to our own mind. For the past does not necessarily equal to the future.

IT IS NOT THE BIG THAT EATS THE SMALL. IT IS THE SLOW THAT GETS EATEN BY THE FAST.

Looks and Reality

This so called owner of this particular Company, young, innocent and painfully naive looking has again proven that looks can still be extremely deceiving.

Started this XYZ Company. Got himself one capable 001. Within 1st month the company collected RM3-4 million. It was booming ever since it started keying in new members last 10th January. And that monkey sang all those jazz about wanting to build a long lasting business.

They were moving so fast into Phillipines, Indonesia and Thailand. Everything looked set and clearcut to take the huge markets the Company has embarked its' campaigns on.

Everything looked in order until it became overly suspicious when my business expenses claims were not honoured. The Company has been dragging its' feet despite booming business.

And yet, the owner that paid RM65,000 for the SUPL in Indonesia(AJL equivalent in Malaysia) which I could have gotten for less than RM25,000 charged the Company RM165,000!

RM 70,000 went into his pocket and another RM30,000 went into another Director's pocket, Mr.G.

On top of that they also robbed the company from renovations done at the HQ by inflating it many times higher.

Where did the money go? Renovated his house. Siphoned RM1 million+ from the company's account into his private account leaving the Company's bank account dry (RM900 left in bank account) despite almost RM4 million turn over for month of March.

Little wonder the Company has not been able to owner my claims. Don't have to figure out about withdrawals.

If not for the 001 helping members to cash out against his own points, everything would have been gone by end of March or latest mid April if members all withdraw their incomes from the Company's e-wallet.

If not also for the new partnership with the Indonesian company which is buying 50% of the Company's share, injecting RM5 million + by this week, the game is DEFINITELY OVER.

This company would not be able to pay out members' bonuses. And that is just exactly after 90 days in busines. #x#@ him. That son of a b.... And I edified him and the company to Cloud 7. Oh bloody ....

When will be the day when a Malaysian company in the MLM industry would ever stop from being so myopic and seriously start taking the world?

Still wonder why a Chinaman like this cannot take the world? 'Coz the brain is smaller than of an ostrich's..

Is it worth to hang around still dying for the Company?

MAXIS' M MONEY

About 3 months back I posted something on the future of mobile money as I was approached to help market the same with another company. I doubted the company's claims of exclusivity. True enough, as expected, Maxis and Maybank just got into partnership to exploit the market with their ready database of customers.

In short, customers can now use their Maxis Mobiles plus Maybank Accounts without carrying their cash anymore to pay bills or other tansactions at supermarkets, petrol pumps and what nots.

"Maxis unveils mobile payment service

Maxis Communications Bhd expects its latest mobile money service, M-money, to record domestic transactions worth about RM500mil per annum by 2010, according to group chief executive officer Datuk Jamaludin Ibrahim.

In terms of take-up, the group expected to have one million M-money customers within the first 12 months, he said.

"M-money represents a tipping point in the emerging mobile banking and payment industry," he said at the launch of the service, the result of a strategic alliance between Maxis and Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) yesterday.


He added that users could instantly credit or cash out money securely from their M-money accounts via their mobile phones through Maybank Financial Services or selected Maxis centres and DropZone outlets.

M-money allows consumers to use their mobile phones to make domestic fund transfers and purchases of selected goods and services up to RM500 in value. A 50 sen fee is charged per transaction.

Maxis plans to extend the service to include overseas money transfer within neighbouring countries once it receives Bank Negara approval.

It will also be working with Maybank to enable mobile phones to be used as a Touch n' Go card for transportation or Visa Wave credit card for purchases.

Maybank president and chief executive officer Datuk Amirsham A. Aziz said M-money was the country's first complete end-to-end electronic money service.

"This partnership gives us an opportunity to explore innovative avenues for expansion and enables consumers to enjoy greater payment and e-commerce convenience via the use of electronic money," he said. He added that the bank's Maybank2u.com portal, which was now averaging electronic transactions worth about RM3bil per month, was an indication of the growing popularity of e-commerce among Malaysians.

On a separate note, Jamaludin said Maxis would announce the partner for its Indonesian venture in a few weeks.

He said the company was currently in talks with a "couple" of parties but declined to disclose if they were local or foreign."

General Election 2008. Malaysia.

I have chosen to be apolitical for a long time abstaining myself despite knowing a little to what is melting in the Malaysian political scene until the historic General Election on the 8th of March 2008 which turned the table against almost everbody's expectations, the ruling Barisan Nasional and the Oppositions alike.

But what followed has been bigger than the GE itself.

Pak Lah's team lost miserably, the worst outing in 50 years history of general elections.

PENANG.

Penang, Abdullah Badawi, the Prime Minister's home state, fell to DAP with Lim Guan Eng who squeezed the final political breath out of Koh Tsu Koon the Chief Minister of Penang and Gerakan's Acting Chairman.

For Guan Eng, being the new Chief Minister without any past experience in what so ever public office is without doubt totally unprepared for such a mammoth task. The next 4 years or so is definitely not going to be easy. He is definitely going to fumble. A lot.

KEDAH
Kedah also created history with PAS ( a Muslim based party) beating the Barisan Team broke, taking over the state installing themselves as the Menteri Besar or Chief Minister. But in terms of qualification, I must say he is the best qualified so far, academically. What he can deliver is of course another matter.

PERLIS
Just North of Kedah, Perlis spun a very diffrent story. Despite the former Menteri Besar leading the Barisan yet to another victory, he was ousted and replaced by another guy endorsed by the palace despite Pak Lah's proposal of having Shahidan reappointed another term as Menteri Besar.

Quite obviously, it was the work of fellow politicians who were then Ministers in the Malaysian cabinet like Radzi Sheikh Fadzil, Azmi Khalid and gang that conspired against Shahidan who stepped onto too many people's toes in Perlis UMNO politics. But that went at a price as well. Both lost their Cabinet posts bleaving them as normal Members of Parliament.

PERAK
In Perak, again it was another nightmare when PAS, Keadilan and DAP took over the state from BN. Despite DAP winning most seats among the Oppositions, it was the state law that the Menteri Besar has to be a Malay.

Again the new MB is the best qualified so far to head the state, a succefssful engineer that speaks Malays, English, Mandarin and Tamil has already started to win people's heart at functions with his eloquence.

SELANGOR
But the best grab for the Opposition must have been Selangor, wrenching it over from the ruling Barisan government, the richest state in Malaysia. Keadilan beat the BN flat out! Imagine the Khir Toyo ( a dentist in a small town of Sg Besar) ex Menteri Besar, waking up the following morning after the GE having to grasp with reality that he was no longer the Menteri Besar.

Hopefully, the new MB from Keadilan, Tan Sri Khalid who was Guthrie's Chairman and PNB's as well being the most qualified so far, will bring some positive changes of good governance voters deserve.



SAMY VELLU
Samy Vellu, MIC chairman was beaten handsdown in Sungai Siput Perak bearing the wrath of the Indians and other voters alike. I wonder how Lord Samy Vellu must have felt following the defeat. It must be difficult waking one the following mornings after the defeat with no more body guard, driver and all the perks of a Minister. You are an ex Minister now, Samy.

TRENGGANU
In Trengganu, yet another story. Idris Jusoh the then Menteri Besar, led his team to victory beating the Oppositions but failed to get re-appointed as the Menteri Besar. The palace is plainly not happy with him and after more than 10 days stan-off, the palace apointed Mat Said from Kijal as the new Menteri Besar amidst the boycott of all others who won the recent GE, standing behind Idris as they were all nominated by him to stand in the election.

What is going to ensue, is any one's guess. But politicians being politicians will just eventually toe the line of power when their own interests matter.

SO WHAT WENT WRONG?
1. Abdullah Badawi has failed miserably as a Prime Minister and leader to the Malays and the rest alike. No doubt about it. How Khairy Jamaluddin his son-in-law manipulates in his politics and government is open secret known even to everybody, politics or business. Just ask around and you'll get more than you can chew.

2. Those in power abused their positions big time, depriving others more deserving or entitled to.

3. The business community were short changed as well unless well connected to the power cronies.


Campaigns like this by the internet savy has certainly done a lot of damage to the BN. Simple yet so far reaching..

4. Indians were disillusioned with Samy Vellu who has been ruling MIC as his own dynasty for more than 2 decades.

5. The Chinese were also disillusioned with MCA and the politics of MCA preceding the GE has not been healthy at all. And so is Gerakan.

6. The Malays? They have been the biggest losers being second class citizens in their own land unless they are members of the cronies of UMNO.

Feel sorry for Pak Lah. Not only he gave away his daughter to this guy, but also his political life.

7. UMNO. The day has come when the King with no clothes on is the best dressed king in the whole kingdom. Surrounded by people in positions or otherwise, the President is made to believe that everything is fine even though things are rotting at the grass root levels.

Unless quickly the truth is quickly acknowleged, what has happened is just the beginning of the end. It has happened in Japan before. The Phillipines. Thailand. We are never short of history lessons to learn from.

8. STRONG OPPOSITIONS?
Do Malaysians really endorse the politics of bigotry or extremism of PAS, DAP & Keadilan? I don't think so.

It's just that when voters were fed up of the ruling coalition, who would they vote for? Opposition.

Q:How long can this brand of politics last?
A: For as long as the King believes he is still the best dressed in the Kingdom despite being naked in everybody's eyes.

Yes, Anwar Ibrahim has been extremely instrumental in getting the Opposition parties to come around together, but I was around then when he orchestrated Tun Ghaffar Baba's exit from being the then Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Oresident the then almighty UMNO in 1993.


Marriage of convenience?

I was there to witness how well he 'managed' Malaysia as Finance Minister and wanting to bring in IMF into Malaysia during the economic crisis of 1997-98.

As an UMNO Division Youth Head, I was involved at National Level politics as well and I witnessed a thing or two right before me. Saw it all how Anwar Ibrahim distributed wealth to his cronies through newly listed companies' shares by the hundred of thousands, projects and what nots under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance.
